Switchvox 4.0 – Now Available

Digium released Switchvox 4.0 today. The 4.0 signifies a deep commitment to the Switchvox platform and introduces some increadible features. We will be coordinating with our admin contacts to push the upgrade to your hosted Switchvox server. In the meantime, here are some of the features that have been introduced in this latest version:

  • Built-in Faxing
  • Jabber based instant messaging with presence
  • Video Calling – requires video phones
  • IMAP integration – for single message delete for voicemails
  • Disk-space Quotas
  • Notification Templates
  • HD Voice Support (G.722)
  • Updated User Portal and Switchboard
  • Switchvox Notifier

Update: For those who are on our shared Switchvox platform, the update has been performed and you may take advantage of all of the features. Please contact the Help Desk if you have any questions on their use.
